Making Memories

Sometimes you just need to break all the rules. School was out all week this week at 2:12. Although it was a little tough because I was short an hour, it was actually nice not rushing off to all our activities right after school. 

Our friends from Chicago were out visiting family in Hollywood and called to tell us that they were heading out our way. So we packed up our beach gear and headed over to the Beach. Mela stayed home tonight with a sitter because we knew it was going to be a late night. We stayed to watch the sunset and had dinner on the beach. The kids loved every minute of it!!! Austin and Kain kept telling me that this was the "Best night ever". It was such a fun night... Making memories.

 We have this picture of Austin when we first moved here when he was 3 1/2. Now... almost 7!

 Kain loves sand.. you didn't know that? Really, you should see my house, especially my front room!

 My Friend Claudia. We met when I was teaching at the Vaughn Center in Aurora, IL. She use to take my class. We've kept in touch. Now her brother lives here in Hollywood.
