We had a great weekend. The weather was perfect-Eric was home all weekend. What more could we ask for! Today we decided to walk to the Riveria. It's about a 30 min. walk from the house-with lots of hills. We had planned on walking down to get some coffee and walking back.. but Austin decided he didn't want to scooter, but rather try the double bike attachment carrier. He was begging us to ride in it with Kain. We agreed. They had fun. They made themselves right at home. Socks off, shoes off.. blankets covering them. (It was a little breezy today). We were enjoying being down there so much, we decided to stay down, walk around stop for some frozen yogurt and then head to the beach. It was so much fun! Austin said it was the best part of his weekend!! Always makes you feel good when they appreciate the little things you do with them. :)

The other day I dropped Austin off at school and Kain, Mela and I headed home. WE had no big plans.. no place to rush off too, no appointments, nothing! I did not have to work and decided to skip the gym. I even had the kids in their pj's when we dropped Austin off. I told Kain... let's get dressed and head to the park. He threw himself on the floor and said, "NO, not the park....., WHY." I couldn't believe it. I thought who throws a fit when their mom wants to take them to the park? Oh Kain.. I have to remind myself you're 3.......
Regardless, I packed them up and we went to the park and we met our friends Cameron, Addison, Sawyer and Sophia. (you may remember them from Soccer.). They had so much fun.. We ended up staying all morning until it was time to pick up Austin. Then we ended up meeting up with them again at the pool for the afternoon before and after our swim lessons. The kids had a blast. Then we came home from one pool to head to our Tennis Club to meet up with Megan and Edward and Madelyn and Don . From across the street. It was Family fun night so we stayed and played in the pool and had dinner. It was an extremely busy day for starting off with no "BIG" plans. I was tired!
