The phone call

Have you ever had one of those telephone calls and thought.. "What in the world....". Today the gym called and said that no one was available in the daycare this morning.. so basically they were saying to NOT come in today.. This has never happened to me, EVER! Well.. I guess we had to change our plans. Since we are usually at the gym by 8:30am, we were all ready and set to go. So we decided to take a 2mile walk to the park.

Austin rode his bike and Kain enjoyed his ride in his jogging stroller. We had such a great time and were the only ones at the park this early in the morning. Oh well.. the boys got to play together. But first.... WE had to get on the "Airplane" Austin packed his sleeping bag and back-pac and Kain had his back pac too. Enjoy the ride.

We ended up staying till lunch time and I did not have anything on me but a garage door opener and my I-phone. So we went all the way home to pick up some $$ and the wagon. (Austin was too tired to ride his bike back) So I got a nice arm workout carrying his bike and helmet while pushing the jogger back 2 miles.

We all decided on going to ROD'S. (the Greek Deli) up the street and had lunch. The boys were so hungry I thought I was going to have to go back and order more food! I didn't. We headed home after lunch.

The path we traveled! Well, turns out this was one of the best phone calls I've ever received this morning. I think we all enjoyed being together this morning! I'm pretty sure Austin was talking about this little morning adventure when he tells me, "This was AWESOME".
