EA Winter Wonderland/Awana Christmas

Last night was Eric's Christmas party at "Supper Club" it was a super hot, swanky club in Hollywood! His company never seems to fail on going all out for it's employees !
We had such a fun time--quite the experience. Like nothing I have ever been to before!
Those are helium balloons. They floated all over the room. And a very tall guy on stilts.
Also an acrobat in the air
This chair was walking around the club. We could sit on it if we wanted to.....
This one covered himself with shaving cream. It was kinda funny-we saw him walking around the club in his robe, until his skit came on.
Another awesome act. Seriously, this guy could twist about 4 of these around him all at the same time. (they glow in the dark too) as you can see.
Eric's buddies, Travis, (Eric) Tanner. (Travis is from Champaign, IL) Small world?
Beneard is Eric's boss. (the guy with the tie). He got everyone shots.. 30 of them. CHEERS!
This guy was rolling around the floor, he was lit up in christmas lights. It was pretty funny, he was lying on a skateboard and rolling himself all around the club.
Awesome candy table.
This is one of the EA employees announcing some prizes.
It was such a cool party! We haven't had that much fun in a long time. We have fun when we go out.. but this place was amazing! I was reading on the website that you have to be on a "List" just to get in line before getting in the door. EA rented the entire club out for the evening!

Today was a long day. Austin had soccer at (skills training)8am until Game (from 9-10)10am. It was 80 degrees.. very warm for December 12th, I went to work this afternoon. This evening I went to Austin's church to help wrap all the gifts that the kids bought with their "earned money". (The gifts we either hand made, donated or bought)They had to buy things for other people, IE-mom/dad/sibling. using their money they earned for learning their bible verses. (Austin earned $50) It was so fun.
Austin was so excited. He asked me if we could go to AWANA early tonight so he could sit in church and listen to them play the piano. How cute. After I dropped him off, I stood in the door-way where he couldn't see me and I watched him shake his head, kick his feet and try to sing along. (he was by himself-none of the other kids were in the church yet) It was the most precious moment. Wish I could have gone back in an hugged him just for a quick second. He loves being apart of Awana!

Tonight Austin "bought" presents for Mom, Dad, Kain and his teacher, Mrs. Beth. He told me tonight in the car what he got everyone as he was very excited. He said it is fun to buy things for people. He asked his teacher if he could buy a gift for Peyten, but they did not have any dog gifts. So I'm taking Austin to the store tomorrow to pick out a gift for Peyten.
Tonight was a lot of fun!!!
We wrapped all of these gifts. There were about 5 of us women helping out, wrapping, tagging, decorating the gift bags, while the older men sorted everything by name.
Cutest little Cubbie in the world!

Christmas prep

Ok, so we went out for our Christmas pictures over the past weekend.. Of all days, IT Rained! This one did not make the cut however, but seriously, the location... AMAZING!
My house looks like chaos. Christmas is in the air.. but we are still working on the lights. Having some technical difficulty.
Random ornaments are being broken
I'm letting the boys decorate this year
It's all about them anyways.
Austin found this for me.. When we were in Starbucks, of coarse. Isn't it cute?
Austin makes it his "Job" everyday to help with this tree. He takes his job seriously!
My cute little boys in their new Pj's. (Thanks Meme)!
Who knows what's going on here!?!
We are having fun! I still have no voice, but I'm working on getting better before our busy busy busy weekend. Jaime's B-day party, Eric's company party in Hollywood, Sand & Surf Soccer, Work, Present Wrapping at the Church and Awana Christmas party! I really hope I can talk by this weekend or else Eric is going to have a plate full!!!!!!
If you don't hear from me, I'm not ignoring you, I just can't talk.

The Christmas Tree

We went out to our future home of Palos Verdes and on our way we caught the most beautiful sunset. This was about 4:45pm. (Saturday evening)The Terrenea lit up the Christmas tree the night before and the kids loved seeing it.
Family shot-minus Austin. He did not want to take a picture.
It is so beautiful out here
Since not much was going on in PV, we headed out to Hermosa Beach to pick out our Christmas tree. We promised Austin he could pick this year.
Of coarse he found one right away and Eric was checking out the price tag :)
"Thumbs UP" our 8" tree
Ma' boys!
The men carrying out our tree to attach to our car
Cute, right?
Even cuter with the candy-cane's!
The boys were amazed watching the guys tie it to our car.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here!

Holiday lights--Riveria Village

Thursday night we went to the Holiday lights in the Riveria Village (Redondo Beach). We met up with our friends for dinner at "GOOD STUFF" and then went out to find Santa......

Austin pulling Connor to meet Santa
A-OK here.. Kain did not want to sit on his lap....
But the girls did! Raluca, Ryann and me
Connor and Austin are great friends at soccer. Conner is already in Kindergarten!
waiting in line for candy
Oh, my little kookeroo.
The crew-
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.. Even if it's 50 degrees
The snow machine still works!!!
I must admit, it was pretty cool! (and nice to not be freezing!)
Kain kept touching his head, like "what's this"?
We had a really fun night. We also went on a carriage ride with all the kids. (Yes, Eric was with us, but being the great husband he is, he stood in line for us while we walked around with the kids)
Of coarse they loved the carriage ride and all Thanked Eric for standing in line so long!!

Christmas is such a fun time of year.. January is going to be a tough one to follow!!
