For those of you who don't know...Mela got her ears pierced... She's been asking forever and we finally did it. She picked her birthstone. She did great and did not cry one bit!
I told her once she was fully potty trained.. she can get it done. I had the boys with me.. and we decided just to do it. She's been doing great... knock on wood!
As the boys started school on Aug. 25th... they both did great. Austin goes all day, Kain in the afternoon and Mela two days a week. The schedule is working out well for all of us.
Mela's first day was Aug. 26th and she could not wait for this moment. She walked right in.. sat down said good-bye and that was it.. She loves her school. Only 4 girls in the class and they are all her "Best Friends"!
Boys are doing great making friends. I'm 1 of 3 room parents for Austin's class and for Kain I help with Friday folders. It's an at home project.
We've been busy, going out.. taking the kids out and enjoying this amazing city.. I mean.. Does this view get any better? The kids never even mention missing the beach... I think we've all found our happy place here!
They love playing at the house and we always have something going on!
Soccer is in full swing. I'm officially the "Soccer MOM" We eat, breath, sleep San Ramon, AZURI Soccer club. Kain practices. Mondays, Thursday and Fridays. Austin Tuesday, Wed, & Thursday for his traveling team. On Sunday he traveled over and hour to play.. I'm still keeping my work schedule the same and Kain and Mela enjoy coming with me on the weekends too!
Mela just started at Studio 8 Dance studio and she loves it and wants to GO EVERY DAY! Her school teacher tells me she loves dancing and gymnastics and has to stop her from do so in class (In her pre school).
Mela and I enjoy our time together when the boys are off in school on her off days. She tells me I'm her "Sister Forever" she thinks we are sisters?? Maybe. I will take that! I've been taking her to the pool because it's been so hot here.. Another week of high 90's....Thank goodness for the pool in our neighborhood.
I love picking the boys up. On M-W-F. I pick up Austin then we walk over to Kain. Austin really likes that I get him first and loves to wait in line for his brother at his classroom. He stands right in front and the teacher knows that Kain can go out with him..On Tue/Thurs. I pick up Austin-Kain-then we all go to get Mela and everyone likes this.. Mela loves having her brothers pick her up and the boys love to go in a "little kid classroom". Kain always carries her bag out to the car for her. It's really cute.
We get split up a lot since kain is at one park and Austin at another... So I got to be with kain and Mela on Saturday. Kain did great. He is no. 22 and Austin no. 21. As long as we stay on Club San Ramon.. these numbers will stick with them.
So, I've been bad at updating.. but I'm back and hope I got the most important things listed above. We are for sure busy, But I enjoy it. Everyone seems very happy and enjoys where we live. Rarely is LA ever brought up unless they ask if we can go to Disneyland over the weekend. :)
Gotta go to bed.. School starts early on Wed....for both boys!
