Catalina Island

We decided to go to Catalina Island for one night over the weekend. It was a beautiful day (78 degrees). Not much to the Inland...about 3,000 people. We guessed around 500. The town was cute, but so small. We walked around, rented a golf cart to drive thru the mountains, went to a wine tasting and had a nice dinner before hanging out by the fire pit. It was a nice getaway. We plan to go again to go kayaking & try the 5 point zip line tour.

The original Wrigley Field... started here. Not much left of the field, but the Wrigley Mansion was sure nice! Can't believe the Cubs use to practice spring training here.

When we got home the kids were so excited to see us. We missed them. We decided to clean out the garage... again. It's like a never ending process. The boys got a race track for Christmas that Eric built a whole track for.. It's pretty coo, but takes up the majority. So I decided to put a rug in there and make a little play area for Mela as well. Now we can all be together. It doesn't really look any cleaner, but space is so limited here, I thought, It's a nice way to extend our fun. So anyways, I brought out the Jumpy so the kids could play and I could organize! They loved it and the side yard was a perfect spot for it. Even Mela got in.
*someone hit a button on my camera, so it was all out of focus. It's fixed now, but I couldn't post much of the pictures I took.

I'll leave you with this..... This was on our walk to Austin's school this afternoon.. These two are so cute together.
