SF Weekend Getaway!

We had so much fun in SF, it was a much needed break just in time to "re-charge" for the Holidays. I missed my kids like crazy, but this was much needed. I got to see where Eric spends a majority of his time. The office he goes to is amazing. All I could think of while on the tour is.. I've got to bring my kids back to see this.. they would have a hay-day all weekend long here! Now I know when I call Eric and he doesn't answer.. he must be stuck in a "meeting" or awww, in the middle of something else. (just kidding, I doubt Eric ever takes the time out to play with all these fun toys)! But I hope he does... everyone deserves a break.

This is why I never call him on Wednesdays.... LOL

We were such tourist this weekend too. Despite the Upper 40 degree temps and rain, rain and more rain. It didn't stopping us from walking everywhere and enjoying all that SF has to offer. We visited a couple of the hotels in the area. Look at all this work they put into their lobby's.

The beautiful and very Hilly, crowded streets.

This bridge is amazing. It's one thing to see it in pics, another thing to be standing right on it as the cars are driving by!.
 The City
 The Crooked road

The Trolley ride was so cold, the rain was practically blowing right in. Eric was freezing as he was hanging on to the outside. He said he could barely feel his hands when we got off...

 Cell phone pics:

We found all these little Cafe's to grab a quick Latte. Speciality shops along to way to grab a sweet treat. Lots of shopping, Christmas lights, Fabulous dinners. Interesting Cab rides. We took a Trolley right down the middle of Market street. We saw over 1 million Santa's dressed up for what they call a "SantaCon" Attempted a "Speak easy" and went to a couple random bars along the way. It was such a fun weekend! I was not sad to see it end because I knew when I got home I would be welcomed by the littles. Kain and Mela were at home and Austin was at TKD. When I walked in the door, Kain came running up to me and wouldn't let go. He was hanging on like a monkey. Mela just looked at me like, "really, you had to leave me?". but she warmed up quickly! When we showed up to pick up Austin at TKD, his first response was, "Are you going to be home for a while now?" The chaos quickly filled my car, then my house again as everyone wanted their turn with telling me something or showing me something or wanting something. It was nice to be home.

It's going to be a fun week too. I went back to work today and everyone wanted to hear about my trip I will have the next 2 Tuesdays off. Austin has a holiday party that I will attend with him on Friday. We are decorating cookies and playing bingo. Saturday we are having a little party at the house before we pack all the kids in the wagons and walk the streets of our very own, "Candy-Cane Lane" with our friends Denise and Brian and their kids. And to top it off... Eric will be home on Thursday until the New Year!

I'll leave you with these of my stinker.....
Mela and Kain are quite fond of each other.. These two are going to get into a lot of trouble together, I can just see it now.
And No, Mela is not walking.. but standing. all the time. She's the cutest!!
