!st day of Pre-school!

Today Kain started his 2nd year of Pre-School. He was so excited. We made a special breakfast, got dressed, did our hair (for the 1st time all summer) Gel included and left for school. 

Austin, Kain, Mela and I walked into his classroom. I guess I wanted to hear his little voice say, "wait mommy don't go" but he didn't- he put his back pac in his cubby and hands in his pockets, kissed me and said good-bye. Austin, Mela and I walked out with our heads hanging and looked back and Kain blew us a kiss. I am happy that he was so happy to be there and explore and meet his new friends. As we were walking out, Austin was awful quiet. I took his hand and he was crying. When I told him it was ok, he just said that he missed Kain. So we went on with our morning and ran some errands. Austin was taking full advantage of his being alone with Mela and I.. For example, he somehow suckered me into getting him a "Large" ICEE at Target (at 9am). But all was fun!

 We picked up Kain and went to lunch and headed to the beach. It was a great day. Kain loved everything about his school...But I do think he was just as happy to be back with us too!

 Did you know if you put baby powder on your sandy body it helps rub the sand right off without hurting.. Kain took that to a new level today.. Oh Kain... this is why Austin misses you SO much... you little goofball!

 Oh and Mela loves her Chair Meme got her... LAST YEAR!

 And Watermelon is her favorite!
