Summer is coming to an end

I don't want Summer to end......This is our last week and we are trying to make the most of Every.Single.Minute! Everyone is having so much fun. But... it will be good too for us all to get back into a routine, although I thinking everyone is going to miss everyone!
Dodgers did not win on Sunday, but Eric got us Awesome tix, front row, 1st base line. They were so good in fact, I was afraid of getting hit by a ball. Fewww.. thankfully, no one did! Mela stayed home and thank goodness because it was scorching hot out (again). She never would have made it. We had to buy a misting fan to keep us cool. Austin ate 3 dodger dogs. He was in heaven! Kain loved every second of the game. He kept asking questions and was so happy to be there, he didn't care how hot it was. (I think he's going to be our baseball player)!

We stopped at Eric's office on the way home as he needed to pick up something for his trip and the boys rushed into the game room to get on a game while he did his thing.
 From the Movie, "BRAVE"
We've been beachin' it..every chance we get. It's much cooler with the Ocean breeze. TyTy and Kain love playing in the sand.
 The crew
 Austin & Rowan

 Mela loves the sand.

 The boys chillin
Erica & Mela. (TyTy, Rowan and Myles mom).
Running down the strand to get to the shower. It's a requirement before getting in my car!

Kain's been doing so good. And he tells me that he's not about to go in the "deep end".

Austin, our other friend, Myles and Kain

Myles' chair... Mela loves sitting in it. It's just her size!

It was our last, "JACK" Monday.... He was with us all day until the evening... His mom came after dinner to pick him up and it was already dark out... another indication we know Summer is coming to an end.

My Precious playing with her Jewels...couldn't help but snap some pics of her...

Her newest Hair accessory. (Kain found it for her).

The Dr. tells me, Mela has a big head. She wears big girl headbands... they are the only ones that stay on... well, until she realizes the are on her head.. then it's another story!

Ahh..to be a kid again. I wanted to lay right down next to them!

The week isn't over yet. We still have one last Disney trip planned for the boys.. and we thought we would stay through the fireworks. (It's a surprise). Eric is coming home early Thursday and we are taking off to the Happiest Place on Earth!
Kain goes to his school orientation on Thursday too- to meet his teacher and see his classroom before school starts on Tuesday next week. Austin does not start till Thursday of next week and we get to go over to the school next Wednesday evening to find out who his teacher is and to see his classroom.
I've been successful at what' I've wanted to do this Summer!
Austin is reading! Go Austin. And continues to learn so many new things
Kain is learning more each day. He's so smart!
We've had a very healthy lifestyle this summer, we've been getting lots of exercise, eating lots of fruits, we've tried new foods, gone Gluten free (Austin) stayed on track with all activities, the no electronics till after 4p rule worked like a charm and we've been lucky to have such good friends around us this Summer. I'm sad to see it end, but happy to see what the new school year brings.
Soon Austin will be back in AYSO Soccer practice during the week plus weekend games, TKD & reading Club and Kain will be doing soccer with Coach Clive and an enrichment program after school. Mela and I will be busy back at the gym (only teaching 7 classes now) and when she's 1.5, we can start a mommy and me dance class. Yup, that means, a leotard and tutu for Mela. Hope it's right up her alley!! Ha ha, that's getting a little bit ahead of ourselves, but I've got BIG PLANS for Mela and I!
Here's too the week going by slowly so I can enjoy each and every minute of my little loves!!
