The Big Move-We did it!

It's official. We have our new address and we are all settled in... (for the most part). It looks pretty empty in some rooms, but slowly we are figuring out where we want everything. The boys love it, heck we ALL love it!

I must say, it was a HUGE help having Dennis here. I've never seen our old garage empty and never thought I would ever see an end in sight in getting everything out of the old place. Despite me losing my voice, getting the flu and fighting a cold, we all managed to get it done. I am so proud of my little boys for hanging in there even when they didn't want to. Somehow, they always seemed to find some fun out of whatever we were moving! Don't get me wrong.. never did we have a "DULL" moment... but we all survived!!!
I wonder what's going on. Austin looks a little nervous here...
The guys seemed to have it all under control!
I was in charge of making sure everyone stayed out of trouble, so I thought I deserved a self image here. :)
Dennis was having fun with the boys pushing them in the moving truck.....no way would I pack these two little guys up!

Can you hear them now, "Again, Again" giggle giggle giggle.

I'm pretty sure it did happen, "Again and Again and Again".
Look at that. Amazing, right?
U-Haul done with Day 1 (this was Thursday afternoon)
Friday we got a package from ganga filled with Austin's motorcycle helmet, Kain got a "horsey" coloring books, stickers, air-planes, candy for everyone, (even Dennis and Eric) and Bank's that count their money. This kept them pretty busy for a while. (which helped us all out)
Kain LOVES his Horses!!!
In the new garage (Day 2). Dennis, Eric and Austin made me a cabinet for all my kitchen things that will not fit in my kitchen. Huge help! This garage is WAY more organized!! I've been calling it the man-cave because Dennis and Eric have been spending a lot of time in here organizing it. Dennis was determined to get this garage all put together!
Austin was a good helper.
Kain stayed hard at work with his new stickers.
We even fit in a little fun time. Saturday (Day 3) was a day of relaxation. The boys went to the beach, the park, lunch, etc. I went to the spa. It was MUCH needed for everyone!

Kain decided he wanted to take a swim.. It was pretty warm out!
Today, (Monday) I took Austin to his Camp busy bee-sports week and Kain and I met Eric and Dennis at the beach for breakfast. It was so nice and relaxing. What a beautiful last day for Dennis.
The Wood boys, minus Austin :(
Me and my little man

Watching the lifeguard trainings and surf camp at Hermosa Pier.

Kain and I left because we had our 1st playdate (pool party) at the new house at 11:00. So Dennis and Eric rented beach cruisers and went for a ride along the pier. How fun!
(Kain loved to show off his new space) and pool in the nice backyard we finally have!
After the playdate, Kain and I went to get Austin from Camp Busy Bee and he had a playdate with his camp buddy, Peyton. They just love playing on the outside. It's so nice being able to go outside and just have fun again! (no neighbors to bother us)
Dennis was having fun watching everyone play.
Such a nice 5 days. We really did get a lot done, despite a little chaos here and there, I don't think we could have done it without Dennis' help. and YES, I am feeling much, much better.
Off to bed............
looking forward to our next set of visitors as it is always exciting when someone comes and always sad to see them go.
