What a weekend!

We've had quiet the eventful weekend. Not only did we celebrate 7 years of Wedding Bliss.... we also had a lot of "other"events to celebrate as well.. Eric and I enjoyed a nice night out in West Hollywood last night at Koi. Very cool restaurant! We both ate so much, we had to skip breakfast this morning as we were still full.

Today we became members of our church we joined, Rolling Hills United Methodist in Rolling Hills (PV). It was really nice. They asked us to come up to the front of the church and they introduced all the families joining. They started with us and wished us a Happy Anniversary then told the story of how we met. It was sweet. Kain joined us-but Austin went to to Sunday school. At the end of the service we joined the service line and everyone shook our hands to welcome us. Austin eventually joined us so everyone could meet him. Kain was Hi-fiving everyone and doing the fist pump, while Austin hid behind Eric.

Tonight we celebrated Austin's last Awana class as a "Cubbie" in September he will graduate to a Spark. (which he is very excited about) They had a program for all the parents as well as the Awards ceremony. It was very cute and as you will see, Austin LOVES the program. His teacher, "Miss Carol" is a very extraordinary lady. She actually started taking my aerobics class, so I do get to see her all the time. (she lost over 250 lbs. on her own, no surgery) and is doing everything she can to keep up with this rowdie bunch! She says she is very tired at the end of the night with them.

Poor Kain, right before the program started he threw up all over his shirt and broke into a fever. Although he really enjoyed seeing his brother and everyone sing, he was quite miserable towards the end. We think it is his last molar coming in because he was drooling and chewing his finger during the entire program. Once we came home, we put him to bed.
Check out the video's. Such a cute program. So glad I found this for Austin as you can tell he really enjoys every minute of it! We are very proud of him. Hopefully Kain will be just as excited to join when he turns 3.!
