What a fun night in Manhattan Beach! It was much like the Geneva Christmas walk, except, less chilly and way more kid-friendly. The lights lit up the pier. It was so pretty! Santa was there too, but the line was long and Austin was not ready to see the Jolly Man.. (but sure has a BIG list going!)My most favorite little men! They are so sweet (when they want to be)! Austin had fun playing on the fountains. We ran into his soccer coach and his son, Zach and his family who he plays soccer with. They enjoyed playing for a while before we parted to have dinner. Wahoo Taco's. AMAZING TACO'S! Would you believe that Austin ate his entire meal. Not even a crumb was left on the plate! We might need to frequent this place..... Kain loved the skateboard bench! We went to Sketcher's (They are HQ here in Manhattan Beach) and they were handing out Gingerbread cookies with the letter "S" on it. Aren't they cute? We also went to another shop: Becker's Bakery, where the boys made their own cookies. We got "flashy" jelly rings-Huge hit. I think almost every kid had one on. And finally met up with Cosmo. We had been searching for him all night in the crowds. MB fire truck made it's appearance after the Pier was lit up and Santa arrived. Waiting to see Santa It was a long wait.. can't imagine the wait from Christmas Eve till Christmas morning. Kookeroo! The Christmas Carolers. It was so much fun tonight! Funny how they did this so far in advance before Thanksgiving, makes it much harder to explain that Christmas is still .....6.......weeks..........away!
But--we still have Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach Pier lights ups to go.....
Hermosa Beach is next and that's a big one---we hear they bring in SNOW!!!!!!
