25 days....

Look at this neighborhood. It's called Christmas tree lane.. when you live in this area you have to sign a contract stating that you will participate in the holiday lights otherwise you will be fined. It's not joke. We looked at a rental-we would have had to sign this contract or else we would have gotten a $50 fine. Future home perhaps... HA HA HA
whoa-little nuts
perhaps overboard...
ok-enough said!
The boys finished up the fence this weekend, but man it was cold... like Chicago Fall cold!
My three men..
Santa was a breeze this year. Austin had a full blown out conversation with him. He told him he saw him on the roof of someone's house on his motorcycle. (he wants a motorcycle) but said a bike will do.. with a bell!
Lily was a little nervous
Kain just wanted a candy cane.

Oh, I almost forgot.... Santa called Austin and Kain on Skype. They were pretty shocked... listen closely to Austin for some odd reason he thought this was his Papa....

Holiday weekend

It's been so nice having the chance to spend time with Shefali, Vishual and the kids. It's like we pick up where we left off.. except the kids just keep getting bigger!

Today we met up in Santa Monica. We had lunch at Johnny Rockets and walked around listening to all the Christmas entertainment.
Saachi and Austin are still buddies. They held hands as we walked the streets in Santa Monica
(no clue who the kid is in the background) we don't know him. But Saachi, Shiv and Austin had fun hanging out.
We stopped to see the flying helicopter in Brookstone. Very cool.. might be on someone's Christmas list....
The kids all had balloons made
Of coarse Austin & Kain chose swords.
lots of different balloons were made.
The Gang: Shaan (3) Shiv (4) Kain (1) Austin (4) Saachi (6)
Shaan & Kain are little buddies today
Austin and Shiv of coarse are buddies!
My best bud!
All smiles
Just wish they could live here...
On Friday night, Eric and I were able to get out to meet Shefali & Vishual, the brother, girlfriend, other brother, wife.. etc. We met up at Katsuya in Brentwood, Ca. Very cool place!
I would highly recommend the cucumber/watermelon mojito!
Friday morning after the crazy "BLACK FRIDAY" chaos, we started hanging the Christmas lights.
Austin was a big help! We have the Palm tree taken care of and part of the fence.

Eric and I are going to finish the other part of the fence tonight. (yes, in the dark) and tomorrow we will finish up with the balcony and roof.
Kain LOVES the snow globe. He is totally mesmerized by it!
Austin likes it too. It's now become a fixture on our dinner table.
Hopefully we finish up the lights before the rain comes.... It (might) rain tomorrow. We will see..
off to finish up....
Hope your weekend is going as good as ours!

AYSO SOCCER PARTY!

Austin had his soccer party tonight, although he did not make the last game, he tried so hard to enjoy himself this evening.
All his buddies came running up to him, hugged him and asked him if he was ok. It was so sweet. He is doing ok. Just not quite himself yet...
Coach Alan was one of the best coaches Austin has ever had! He was so good with all the kids!
The Team

Austin and his buddy, Connor.
Austin and Zach. (He's the coaches son) When Austin arrived tonight at the party, Zach says, "I scored a goal for you tonight buddy". Ahh.. it was so sweet. What an awesome family!!

Austin is very excited to add to his trophy collection!
This morning the boys were watching a movie. Eric rented a movie on his apple TV. I think it was a lego movie.
OMG--Y U M! Ganga sent the boys 2 DOZEN chocolate covered strawberries in hopes that they will feel better.
Aren't they the sweetest boys ever? Now that everyone is feeling under the weather, I might as well bunch them up together and snap a picture. (b/c they are all so cute!)
Here's to hoping the week---end can only get better. Hoping for an uneventful night! This mama needs some sleep!

"Chic's dig scars" I'll spare all the gruesome details, But Austin is ok. He's a brave little guy. And Kain was very worried about him....what a sweet brother!

Here's to a less hectic and uneventful weekend! HAPPY FRIDAY!
