Pumpkin Patch weekend!

We sure have had our fill of going to the pumpkin patches around here! I always drive by this pumpkin patch on my way to work and it looked pretty cute.. so we headed over there on Friday afternoon and met Dylan and Kyle. It was a cute pumpkin patch, pony rides, petting zoo and jumpy's. Although we did not find any pumpkins to take home...
The boys always have fun together!
Can't believe Austin chose to ride the pony and not the bigger horse.
Cutie Kain did not want to ride the pony, but sure had fun watching and waving to the boys as they each took turns.
Holy cow.. that's one HUGE pumpkin!
Since we were in Halloween mode... the boys put on their costumes on Saturday morning.
Today after work we headed to Irvine, Ca to a real "pumpkin patch"
Of coarse Austin was loving it!
Tractor rides
Pumpkins everywhere
corn mazes
Lots and lots of pumpkins
Kain wanted to get his face painted. Spider and a web. Although he does not look happy, he was really excited to see it!
And the petting zoo
I think we've had our fill of pumpkin patches for the year!

Mark Salling’s Official Record Release Party Presented by BlackBerry

We had a blast the the Blackberry event last night. Thanks to Eric's account, we got the VIP treatment. No really, we did. We had access to the top level at
"My House"
http://www.myhousehollywood.com/
We enjoyed free drinks and eats. We walked on the "Red Carpet" to get in the doors. It was a very cool experience.
Mark Salling, also known as "Puck" from Glee sang for the 1st time in public his two new song releases. I probably won't run out and buy a copy of his cd, but it was cool to see him live. He's only 27 years old too!
Thanks BLACKBERRY/RIM for hooking us up at this event! AND keep up the good work Eric, I could get use to this...........

Not sure if we are in any of these, (probably not) Here are more photos from last night!

Getting ready for Halloween

Austin and Kain have been busy getting ready for Halloween. Every day we do something "Halloween" related. Lily and Austin decorated pumpkins with Mr. Potato Head pieces. They are currently sitting outside our front door on a bench. (Austin & Kain's)Here they are. Lily's, Austin and Kain has the littlest pumpkin that Austin and I decorated while Kain napped.
Austin and Dylan make play-doh
This is today. 10.19.10. For the first time EVER in Ca. I heard THUNDER. IT was a scary day! Now we have flash floor warnings on the TV. IS this for real? I taught class this morning and my 2nd class had only 4 people. (Usually I have 20+)
So we decided to have a "picnic" inside tonight for dinner. In our front room, on a blanket, just like we would outside. The boys really liked this idea!!!!

Then we decided to make a Ceramic plate to place on the outside of our house.. I was trying to save it for our big move to PV.... but that might be a while. :(

My little photographer, Austin took this.

The boys LOVED decorating this! It turned out pretty cool. it's "setting" right now. but hey--they put their personal touch on it, so I like it!! Well done boys!
My little pirate.
Crazy boys!
Be afraid, be very afraid. No really!!!! I'm not joking!!
Hope you all are enjoying your halloween festivities as much as we are.. ..

What can I say.....

"Snookie & The Situation" mini version. aka, (Lily & Austin) isn't this the funniest?!
Dylan came home with us from school today for a playdate. Austin and Dylan always find something to do.....

When Dylan left, Austin and Kain started their own little party.... First a quick popsicle break.. but wait, they are just getting started.
Next a dance party....

And here comes trouble....

Never a dull moment in the Wood Household!

Sweet Home, Chicago

It was a bittersweet visit home to Chicago this past weekend. It was so nice to see everyone-It was hot and humid like I remember it, chaotic like I remember it and never a dull moment in between!

Meme is always so put together, you would never know anything was ever wrong. Look how beautiful she is!Austin was stuck to James like glue.. to say the least!
Happy 6th Birthday to Ella. Can't believe what a big girl she is now. And she is quite the little lady!!
Graeme reminds me so much of Kain, it's not even funny-his manorisms, the way he acts, eats, screams for his "MAMA". It's so cute.
Papa brought his remote control helicopter to Aunt Nicole's house. The boys loved to play with this, although, I don't know if their is much left to the helicopter..........it crashed quite a few times.
Meme and Pa held a beautiful lunch at their place on Sunday. Pa surprised each grandchild with $5. No one spent it...they all saved it.
Love my family! Even when we're mad, even when we're sad, even when we hollar, get angry and cry............
Thanks for all the great memories this past weekend.
xoxo
