Baseball, Baseball Baseball!!!!

Since after school last Thursday when I told Austin I got him signed up for Baseball this year... he's been doing nothing but practicing. No really, all day out in the front yard, when it's cold he comes in the playroom and I roll him "grounders" (He finds it hard to believe that I use to really play a good game of softball in my day.) In fact, I was even using my glove to play with him. Kain does a great job of fielding all the balls Austin misses and Mela is happily pushing her babies around in her stroller and wagon right in the middle of all of it!. 

Here he is.. Eric and him went out on Saturday for Try-outs. I was kinda nervous for him because he did take a year off. Eric said he did good, he wasn't one of the worst players, but he wasn't one of the best either, but he went out there and he was running after the ball and trying his hardest. I think it's going to be a good season. Now we are just waiting to hear what team picks him.

 Kain was so excited to get an old glove we had for Austin. It fit Kain's hand perfectly!

 I set one of the kitchen chairs up in the window and Mela was happily eating her raisins watching from the warmth inside. 

 Peyten loves to stick super close to Mela now that she's eating all this food.. HA HA HA.

 My Friday Lunch date... He wanted this cookie because it was "Yellow"! But I don't really think it tasted very good....

And back to school they went...

I was really sad to send them on their way today. Austin get's dropped off first. I had to drive him this morning. He get's out of the car and Mela starts crying. Alright, screaming that her big buddy left. Kain goes next and she was ok-she waved good bye with both hands.. No tears. Then she realized she had me all to herself and she was all over me. 

 Kain started playing soccer again and I got him a pair of soccer cleats. He was SO excited to be wearing them. The 1st thing his coach said was, "Hey Kain, cool new shoes". Kain loves it when someone notices his new things... He was so happy! He did so good today too. He LOVES to play soccer..

 Mela and I were having fun on the sidelines. I was putting my hands up to block the sun and she started copying me.. So then I would do it as a joke and say, "GOAL". She thought this was pretty funny. So she kept raising her hands up in the air and I would yell "Goal". It was so cute.

We don't want Christmas Break to end!!!

Took Kain in for a haircut today, He got one. 

Austin liked the truck you get to sit in to get your haircut and begged me to get a haircut. He got one. Mela wanted to see what the big deal was, she got to sit in the truck. She got one.

 I wasn't really prepared for her, so I took a few photos while holding her. (After the truck wasn't as cool once she started to get her hair sprayed down.) lol. 

But she did great! I just had it cleaned up and evened out. So she has the cutest little BOB. Now I'm just going to let it grow grow grow. (not as long as mine of coarse)!

 She was upset because Denise was spraying her hair wet. She didn't like that part. 

 She twisted her hair up in a bun it looked so cute.

 Today was a gorgeous day in LA... 72 degrees. The boys enjoyed playing soccer and mela and I watched on the sidelines. 

 They were having so much fun!

Mela LOVES this kitchen!!! She cooks everyday!

 Oh and I can't forget how she just LOVES her brother(s)!!!!!

Christmas Break & New Year's!

This is one of the Best Christmas breaks..... I don't know if it's because Eric is home or we just love to all be together... probably a little bit of both...

 New Year's Eve @ Mountain High Ski Resort. (about 2 hrs. from us) up in the Mountains. Crazy this is Ca., right?!

 We also took the kids ice skating up in Palos Verdes. Austin is doing so awesome on ice skates. Kain loves to ride on the seal!

 Mela bundling up in one of Austin's old coats. She loved wearing it so much!!!!! ( I think it was the fur hood that got her)! :)

New Year's Eve was such a blast! We let the kids sleep up front in their sleeping bags. Mela went to bed @ 6:30, Austin 10:30 and Kain was bouncing off the walls until we carried him to his bed and Made him go to sleep!

 Little stinker Mela.. She does this everyday-she goes over to the wall and put's her legs up and laughs and kicks the wall. She loves to do it. Don't ask me why, but today I caught her and it was pretty cute!
