Kite Park-Palos Verdes, Ca.

Ganga sent us kites for Valentine's day and we finally went out to use them. What a beautiful day. We headed out to Kite Park in Palos Verdes. Awesome views... you'll see.

Austin thought it was so cool to stand up so high

Kain was excited to hold it for a minute, but his hand was shaking, I think he was afraid of it slipping away.

They loved helping dad get the kite up in the sky

And of coarse found some rocks to throw over the edge

now.. we're grilling burgers before we head off to Awana. ! what a perfect, busy, fun filled weekend!

Austin had such a fun birthday party with his friends. 12 of his friends came out to celebrate with him... not one left with all the energy they came with! Turned out to be a beautiful day, Sunny skies and 60's. Thank goodness those weathermen don't know what they are talking about... thunderstorms and high of 53.

It's official, we have a 5 yr. old in the house!

It's official, Huntington Lane has a new 5 year old! Kain woke up at 4am and so then did Austin. covered Kain up and got him to sleep and I walk out and Austin is standing there.."It's ok mommy, I'll take care of Kain, just give me my DS and I'll start playing it". Ummm, Austin, please go back to bed.
