What a fun weekend had by all. I scored some free tix to LA GAlAXY Soccer on Saturday night. (5 of them) so I told Eric to take the boys and have a great time. They invited Jack and his dad with the remaining 2 tix. Jack and his dad were so excited!!
Austin wearing his David Beckham shirt from the first game he went to.
The boys loved every minute of the game. These noise makers came home with them. Can you image how 4 of these sounded in the house?
So fun for all of them. Once they came home, around 10p, everyone was so wound up. I don't think anyone wanted to go to sleep they just wanted to talk about the game. Kain danced to all the music and Eric said he was saying this was the best day of his life.
Here's the crew.Saturday morning we walked, well the boys rode their bikes to Starbucks. It was a beautiful morning, not a cloud in the sky.
Kain rode all the way there and all the way back. He's loving this bike thing!!
Meanwhile, Mela and I played a little dress up. Look at this little Doll... So is so stinkin' cute!
She was so ready to try on her swim suits. .... Hopefully we will get to the beach soon.
So we broke down and decided to buy ourselves Beach Cruisers. I love mine. I felt like a kid again riding it up and down the street, trying to get use to it. I took Austin out just me and him. He rode on the sidewalk and I rode on the street. He thought this was the coolest thing that I was riding bikes with him. He was saying, "high 5, in the air" as we were riding.. and talking up a storm. He loved it and so did I!
Now I understand when I tell the kids, "10 more minutes" when they are out back riding their bikes. They whine, complain, negotiate.... I did not want to get off mine tonight! Ha.
We also bought a single trailer for little miss Mela to ride in. I think she is going to really like it. (we hope). We had to order it, so we will pick it up sometime this week.
Kain loved the seat. It will hold up to 50lbs. He was enjoying the ride Eric took him on tonight.. At first he was upset that he couldn't ride HIS bike, but once we got him in there.. he thought it was pretty cool! He says, I get to sit behind daddy!
Mela thought this bike shopping thing was a little boring. But she's a trooper.
Oh, I can't forget. WE have this private parking lot behind our house and we took the boys there to practice riding up and down a hill... check this out!
