Birthday Party Fun!

Yesterday we took the kids to Lucky Strike Bowling alley for some Birthday fun. Kain had his friend Araya and Austin played with his brother Teame. They all had a blast!!!!!!

We ordered a little cake so we could sing to Kain one last time (do you see Austin in the background)? He's SO READY for it to be his birthday!! lol

No one had any problems diggin in!!
Mela LOVES Araya & Teame's dad, Zig. She just kept starring at him and smiling.
Today I took out an old toy I kept of Austin's....They loved it!!

Our Little Pistol turns "3"

Last night we decorated the table for when Kain was to wake up this morning. He woke up early (for Kain) and was so surprised.....

HE LOVES THE WIGGLES... that's for sure!
He loved opening all this wiggles stuff.
Especially the back-pac!
But most of all he LOVES his brother!
AND his sister!!!!!! "Mena" as he pronounces it.
Kain got to open a few gifts before school.. and of coarse he decided to pack up his lunch and take his new back-pac.
He was excited to take it with him and he did not want to put it down! When he got to school I over heard him tell his little friend.. "look at my new back-pac, it's the Wiggles"
After work today I picked up Kain's cake. The wiggles of coarse!
And after pick up from school we celebrated a little bit more.. and we couldn't wait until "after dinner" as Eric requested to sing and cut the first piece of cake!.


Mela loved watching the boys playing with all of Kain's new toys. He was very happy with everything today! He got a new Monster truck "Grave digger" from Austin and Mela. A race car set and a garage.. A few of his gifts didn't make it in time this week, but hopefully we be here this weekend. (darn mail system)!
This was another favorite. He wanted a power ranger so bad.. and now he has the whole gang. He played with these for an hour straight.. and did not move from the spot he dumped them out at.
Kain, Mela and I hung out at home tonight while Eric and Austin went to TKD and when they got home we went out to get dinner. Kain requested "chicken" tonight.. so that's what we got. By the time we got home he was so tired, he couldn't even open his eyes to get out of the car. Eric carried him back to his room and he's been sleeping ever since. No dinner, no extra piece of cake, no more "minutes' to play with his toys. 5:45p and he was OUT! I felt bad not eating his dinner with him or that extra slice of cake..but I'm sure we will make up for it tomorrow.
Still hard to believe our little "Pistol" is 3...Boy do we love this kid!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAIN!!!

Matilda Jane

Just hearing the name, Matilda Jane, it just sounds cute, doesn't it? All because of the little girl below-we had our 1st girls party! We had a blast! Sold a lot, ate a lot and drank a lot! What a success!! And Mela added to her growing wardrobe.

Meanwhile, the boys headed out to "Kid Castle" looks like they all had a blast. They had a roller coaster inside that Eric said went really fast.. lol. Poor Eric, maybe he was scared?

When they came home Mela was so excited to see her brothers back she had just as much energy as they did. (I was happy to see them too)!!

TWO DOWN....

So we go to Tae Kwon Do with the tooth and when we're ready to leave, Master Pat, (Master Adam's dad) Says, "you want that tooth out, Austin?"

Austin, "Yes".

Master Pat, "You scared Austin?",

Austin, "YES".

Master Pat, "Come here,"

I blink, the tooth is out and Austin's mouth is covered in blood. That was it.. the tooth was SO LOOSE, Master Pat said he was tired of watching Austin play with it all through class.

Master Pat said he pulled all of Master Adam's teeth. Next thing I know Austin is getting a pin on his uniform and chocolates and high-five's from everyone.. I'm just looking at all the blood in his mouth thinking to myself:

WOW, Ok, he's fine. I know him, if he's not he's going to cry. Or ask me to leave. Or come stand right next to me in fear.

NOPE-Nothing like this happened. Not a tear drop ready to drop.

He was thrilled, more than excited and smiling ear to ear.

And then... we leave w/out a tooth. This picture was taken right after so his mouth was still filled with a little blood.

I think Austin is trying to stay awake to actually meet the tooth fairy. But we have his tooth all ready in his pillow.. now we just have to get Austin to sleep.

"He's too excited to sleep"........... YAWN.............
I'm going to bed. GOOD NIGHT.

Eric's B-day Weekend

Happy Valentine's Day from all three of my littlest "HEARTBREAKERS"

We had such a fun weekend!! Jo came in on Thursday and it was just non-stop, jam-packed fun for all!

We went to Griffith Park on Sunday to ride the train and see the horses.

Austin and Kain loved the horses. Austin's horse was "fast" and he was loving it. Kain went around so many times we never thought he was going to get off.

Sunday night I took Eric to dinner for his Birthday to the Huntley Hotel Penthouse in Santa Monica. Amazing views, great food and even better company. It was awesome!!!

On Saturday the boys and ganga went to the Monster Truck show in LA. They were all so excited....Mela and I stayed home and enjoyed eachother's company. By the time they came home around 10:30p, Austin was fast asleep, Eric had to carry him in and Kain was so wide awake he couldn't stop talking about "Grave digger" and how much fun it was. He finally crashed on the couch with me at 11:30p.
On Monday, Eric's Birthday-the boys made a ton of Valentine's Day cookies. and Puff Pastries. Yum, they were so good!!! They had so much fun decorating and making a mess eating all the sugar.
Princess Mela enjoyed watching all the craziness.
Meanwhile, Eric and I snuck away to go on a tour of Warner Bros. studio. It was so cool...Great way to spend Eric's birthday.
This is actual a really famous spot. Friends, ER scenes and many other famous movies were filmed right here on this set.
These are the trailers that the actors actually change in and prepare their lines. Although we did not see anyone famous walking around... we did keep a close eye out.

It was actually cold and rainy on the tour. The rain was blowing right into the golf cart that was taking us around..

The weekend flew by. But Eric said it was his best yet... mainly because he got to spend lots of time with all of us and we got to sneak away a little too just us.. (Which rarely happens).

Ahhhhh.. BACK. TO. REALITY!
