I know it's been a while.. and we've been busy, I've just been too tired to get on here and "Blog" all about it.
Austin had the choice of Baseball or soccer this year since We just recently signed a 1 year commitment with Tae Kwon Do. He choose soccer. He tried out for an (indoor) team and made it. He'll be training 45 min. then playing 45 min. on Saturdays, So that should keep him busy.
As for Tae Kwon Do, he's continuing to do a great job and continues to stay focused! He has another belt test coming up-but I think we are going to hold him back since he just received his yellow belt in December. He needs to be challenged as he challenges us everyday-Master Adam wants him to know that things will not always come easy.
Besides his sports he's also taking Spanish again at school and even his teacher, Ms. Stadler says he loves it. They increased the class to 45 min. this semester.
Kain is still playing indoor soccer and I'm so proud of him. He just loves it so much. He starts asking about it on Monday and continues to ask until he plays on Fridays. I was a little worried when we first started because he was known as "Austin's little brother" but he get's right out on the field and does so well. He's playing with 4 year olds. He dribbles the ball better than anyone I know. People always ask me, How old is he?
Kain is also loving his pre-school. I love that it's not a daycare-It's like he's really learning and it's nice when Mela and I come to get him he still runs up to us and jumps in my arms like I'm the best part of his day!
He's enjoying his extra class on Thursdays too. His "concoction" class. Last week he came home with "Snow-doh". (it's like play doh that looked like a snowball).
My Big Toothless Wonder
And the Middlest who never takes off his hat.
Mela's been keeping busy too. She's doing great at the Child Watch at work. I'm teaching 6 classes during the week and some Sundays. All of my students always go in and "peek" at her. They all tell me that she's smiling and happy. Which makes me feel so good! Sometimes they wait for me in the lobby after class so they can get a close up of me holding her. They all "ooh, and Coo" over her. She loves the attention! On Thursdays we've started a little play group. We have lunch and either "play" or go on walks. It's with two other little girls and their mom's, one is one month older than Mela and the other is 5m. I know she doesn't realize it, but it sure is fun for mommy!!
Check out her new "Jeans" too cute to not post here!
Speaking of which, she's doing great on her tummy during her "Tummy time" too.
Mela and I ran to the mall the other day to pick up a pair of jeans for Kain. Randomly we found this swimsuit and could not resist. It just so happens that this cute little swim cap matched so well! Kain and I dressed her up the other day and she was so happy she just started kicking her feet. Oh and Kain got his jeans too!
I sometimes just look at Mela and think, Wow, I'm blessed. I've got my two wonderful (active) little boys and then this little angle too. Lucky me!!!! All their smiles melt my heart.
On Sundays, Austin goes to Awana and Mela and Kain are home. So Kain loves to take his Sunday bath's with Mela. They have so much fun together in there. It reminds me of when I use to put Austin and Kain in the tub when they were younger. What's even cuter is when Austin comes home from Awana he always asks Kain, "Did you get your bath with Mela tonight?, yah, was it fun". It's too cute!
Hope you have a good week. Never a dull moment here... that's for sure!
