Summer is HERE!

It's officially summer here in CA!. It feels so hot...... not what we have been use to-that's for sure. I've even had to turn the air condition on... and yes, the neighbors are envious. We are the only ones who have air condition!

A week full of fun!

I think we can all agree that this was for sure a great week.. lots of laughs, lack of sleep, crazy neighbors, great weather and great company!

I think we not only left with 2 happy boys... but they brought their friends home too. Made for an interesting drive home. ... Glad I was riding shot-gun and not stuck in the 3rd row!

Entertainment and the dirt bikes

Kain found his pockets in his pants. Isn't he funny?Ok, so maybe it's not the best activity, but it's early in the morning... and they were having fun. Thankfully, no one was hurt!


Austin's friends Kyle (5) and Dylan (4) --Dylan goes to school with Austin) invited the boys over for a play date. To our surprise--the boys both have dirt bikes. Austin's eyes lit up like he was in a candy shop. He was so excited --could hardly contain his excitement. Kelly (the mom) held onto the back of Austin's bike...






Well, you better believe we'll be back to their house to play!!

Blue Rockets

Here it is.. Soccer season in full bloom... just like a fall day in Chicago, We showed up on the field for a drizzling, 60 degree morning for our 1st soccer game. Unreal weather for CA...

I stand corrected, I thought Austin's team was the Blue Sharks, but it is the "BLUE ROCKETS". it was blue sharks, than rockets, than sharks... It's the Rockets. Austin is No.8 and more than ready to get the season going! So proud of him!

The Haircut

Ta-da!!! Kain got his hair cut today. We went in for a bang trim for Austin and I knew Eric would ask, "what about Kain's hair" so I did mention it to Kathy (the hairdresser) and she said she could clean it up. She did just that... and I'm happy to report we still have the curls!!!!

Kain was awesome. He didn't sit on my lap, he sat in the big boy chair, sucker in hand watching spiderman.
