Boys will be boys

These two are so funny. Kain has been do whatever it takes to play with Austin. (I secretly think Austin really enjoys his company) I say this because when Kain is not around he always seems to ask, "Where's Kain".
I was lucky to capture them playing. Of coarse, I think Austin was teasing Kain, but it turned into a little game. You'll see what I mean. BEWARE, you might laugh a little (I think both of their little laughs are quite contagious!)
Yup, Austin shares all his toys-even the race track
My littlest PistolDid you ever think you would see this? Yes, for some unknown reason, Austin likes to lay in Kain's crib.. I don't think Kain minds..
It's so cute-wherever the boys are.. Peyten loves to be. I think she loves watching her little brothers play!
Austin telling Kain the "Rules" of the race track
Hmm.. Cool.
Austin's new saying, "AWESOME"
I think you can see why I have the best job in the world... being their mom is more fulfilling than any other day job! :)
Oh, I almost forgot, Even I got out for a little bit of fun.. Girls night out. We went to RA Sushi and to see the new SEX AND THE CITY II. It was such a fun night!!! These are my girlfriends, Denise and Ryann.

Wow, 6 years already?

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
They say time flies when you are having fun.. these past 6 years sure have done just that! We had a great night out on the town. Here's to many more!

Austin's last soccer game for Spring

Austin had his last soccer class on Thursday and they played a 20 min scrimmage game. In the Fall he will start in a program called: AYSO. It's really big here and we are so proud he made the team! He's awesome at soccer, (and I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom!) He's fast and furious and does NOT want to share that soccer ball.!
Austin is in the Orange shirt dribbling the ball. It was a little windy (and no-that was not Kain crying in the background)

DISNEYLAND Wednesday

It's been a busy week.. AND it's only Wednesday! Today we went to Disneyland/California Adventure with our neighbors again, Judy/Jerry, Stephanie, Jake, Ryan (daughter/grandsons) and us. We went on so many rides. Austin was a little scared at times, but went on everything he wanted. Roller-coasters, Buzz Light year,Nemo, etc. Kain went on EVERYTHING too. He loved it. (except for the roller coaster-he didn't fit the height requirements)The only issue he had was that he wanted his own seat, not to sit on our laps. But he was having the time of his life. We spent the entire day at the two parks. From 9am-6:30. We thought for sure at least the littlest one would fall asleep on the way home. Nope-they were wide awake. When we came home they wanted to watch Mickey's Clubhouse-and trust me both their little eyes were clued to the TV. It only lasted about 3 minutes before I put them to bed! Kain went right down, Austin. Well we all know his story! But everyone is sound asleep now. Except for Eric and I!
Can't forget the Mickey Hats....
umm, this little Mickey must have thought I wasn't watching him JUMP ON THE BED!
He's a cute big-kid mouse, isn't he?
It's a small world after all. This was a really cool ride. Kain, Eric and I had the front of the boat. Judy, Ryan, Jake and Stephanie had the 2nd row and Jerry and Austin sat in back.
We went to see Mickey's playhouse in concert. Funny, I know EVERY single song. Kain danced and clapped the entire time. (He LOVES to watch Mickey Mouse in the morning) when he hears it he drops everything to run and see it on the TV!
He did not sit during the entire 20 minute show. I got a tap on my shoulder at one point from the staff and they told me Kain had to sit down. Yeah right! I took him in the back and let him dance around me.
Kain on one of the rides. Can't remember which one. But I'm telling ya-he loved every ride!
I think Kain is getting another tooth, because he had his hands in his mouth all day, but that didn't stop him from having fun. Not one bit!
Austin and Jake got suckers in stead of cotton candy (Thank goodness)!
In the end, we left with balloons no toys. Kain choose a blue Mickey and Austin-Buzz lightyear. $14. (yeah, you read that right.. for balloons) Austin's popped in the car. :( go figure!
Leaving with two of the best kids=priceless! Such a fun day. Now I'm tired!
stay tuned.. week's not over yet. Big soccer game for Austin tomorrow. Hoping to video tape it!

Long Beach Aquarium

Tuesday I took the little boys to the aquarium. It's been a little chilly here. About 60 degrees, but very foggy and some occasional rain. :(
Since the beach has been out of question, we decided to take a day trip to Long Beach. (About 30 minutes from us) Our next door neighbor, Judy has her grandson and step daughter in for the week so they came with us. It was fun,.. but nothing like the Chicago Aquarium. This was mainly outside. (Sunny and 70's in Long Beach)It was still perfect for the little boys. Kain LOVED to see all the fish. He likes to call them, "Birds" then he screams. So.. I'm thinking he likes the fish?!

Sunday in Pasadena Ca

Today we headed out to Pasadena, Ca. Home of the Rose Bowl. We had a lot of fun touring the auto show-we went to lunch at this little hole in the wall "hamburger joint" and even stopped at a few shops along the way.
ROSCOE'S-- famous for it's Chicken and Waffles. (That's all they sell) A local famous joint-"Snoop Dog's" Favorite as he mentions it in one of his songs.. oh yeah-I'm sure it's really healthy too! All that fried food.
Austin and Kain in the car are so cute.
Austin: "Ahhh, Man, Kain."... Kain: "just hold my hand!"
What'up
The famous Bridge off of Colorado Rd.
Beautiful church along the way
Here we go again. Brother love. This is what happens when we ask Austin to watch his brother.
The local Bar we stopped at for a drink. (just kidding) we don't take our children into bars. This bar was in an alley way. (pretty cool)
I think Austin spotted one he's got his eye on.
Eric wishes.....
Home of the Wrigley "Gum" Family. The Wrigley Mansion. Really, GUM? I should of thought of that one!
Also the Tournament of Roses HQ. It was BEAUTIFUL.
The Famous "ELLIS ST". Beautiful old homes lined this street. All the streets are lined with Palm trees. It's so pretty!
Ok, this is way too cute. Kain's FAVORITE SONG........
