From the time they are born, our brothers and sisters are our collaborators and co-conspirators,our role models and cautionary tales. They are our scolds, protectors, goads, tormentors, playmates, counselors, sources of envy, objects of pride. They teach us how to resolve conflicts and how not to; how to conduct friendships and when to walk away from them. Our spouses arrive comparatively late in our lives; our parents eventually leave us. Our siblings may be the only people we'll ever know who truly qualify as partners for life. "Siblings," says family sociologist Katherine Conger of the University of California, Davis, "are with us for the whole journey."
It's a privilege to be Austin and Kain's mom. Individually, they bring more joy and laughter to our lives than we could hope for. But to watch them together? Now this is the good stuff.
(Austin trying to fix the "Stalled Car" that he's driving his brother in for the first time) since Kain usually won't sit in the passenger seat with him he wanted to make sure it was a "smooth, slow ride" until this happened. (That's HIS radio you hear in the background) Kain likes to control the radio. This is too cute! Hope it brings a smile to your face like it did ours.!
